What happens when an object carrying a personal memory becomes an image?
Tracing Experience invited participants to explore this question through an artist-led cyanotype process. Beginning with a meaningful personal object, participants moved through selection, arrangement, exposure, washing, and viewing, translating something from everyday life into a visible trace on paper.
The experience extended beyond making an image. As light and development revealed the object’s imprint, participants were invited to reconsider their relationship with the memories it carried—to move between remembering an experience and observing it from a different distance.
MEMOR Museum’s atmosphere, history, and lived traces formed part of the experience, bringing the surrounding space into dialogue with objects, memory, and the cyanotype process.
